How is onone focalpoint any better than the camera blur (or just Gaussian blur) with an appropriate mask?

I am using OnOne more these days for my HDR work. The Sylize Effects in Phototools is awesome. General Fractals is a must and thanks to watching Dave Cross’s tutorial on the OnOne site for Photoframes I’m using it more.
