It’s Free Stuff Thursday!

What Happened To RC?
RC Concepcion and crew went to Gary, Indiana to record our highly anticipated Exposing HDR course.

Sounds great, right? Well, it was going great until something went terribly wrong (we think), but we lost the feed and this is the only footage we have.

What happened to RC and crew? Are they in danger? Will we ever see them again? Will we have to get another instructor for our Exposing HDR course? We don't know, but you can check in at KelbyTraining.com on Thursday, October 31st at 4pm EDT to find out! You have no idea what will be unveiled!

  1. With the lack of a new Paranormal Activity movie this year, it looks like RC’s exploits will have to do! Let’s hope he’s ok. ;-)

Put me down for a chance to win a ticket to Scott’s Boston seminar.
    –John

  2. Hope RC and the crew are okay, but who is this Gary Indiana guy, very mysterious :)
A free month’s subscription would help, ease the pain, whilst I worry about RC and the crew.

  3. I live close to Gary…Weird things happen there this time of year. I also live very close to Chicago and would love to see the Lighting Master himself!

  4. Hi All, Second to last Thursday freebie before the event in Chicago 10/23
. Kelby Live ticket so I can see Joe in person. Had a blast at the photowalk and would like to learn lots more from an instructor.
    Glenn

  5. Well RC may be dead in Gary, Indiana, but I see his ghost will be alive and well in Phoenix on November 1. Now if you had put a cancelled sign over the Phoenix training, then I would have worried.

  6. Brad, Question: When you guys post about ‘Free Stuff Thursday’… Exactly when is it the ‘free stuff’ is decided? As sometime the new page is posted very very early on a given day, and winners are already listed at the bottom of the page.. Like 7:00 AM..

It’s just a clarification, maybe other wonder this too..

I’d be in for the 1 month on training, if I’m not too late.

    1. Hey John – The winners posted are last week’s winners, not this week’s. The post usually goes live right after midnight, but I put it together the day/night before. That’s when I pick the winners from last week’s post, then I email their info to our customer service team to set them up with their prizes. Hope that clears it up a bit!

  7. Scott,
I just tried to convince Adobe to sell me the Photoshop Photography
Program (Photoshop CC + Lightroom 5) at the $9.99/month rate being
offered to owners of previous versions of photoshop… No go! Tried
everything I could think of, even tried appealing to their patriotism
(I’m a member of the armed forces), Nada! That package is PERFECT for
so many of us. IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF GETTING THIS DEAL FOR MEMBERS OF
    NAPP??
    PLEASE…. PLEASE??
    thanks!

  8. In the shutdown category: Red Rock desert where I believe there was a pre-conference day at Photoshop World in Vegas this year was closed by the shutdown with No Trespassing signs. A $250 + $20 fee citation will be issued is caught. Yes, the US Government closed the desert.

  9. Oh wow! RC lost in Gary Indiana! He may turn into a fellow ‘Hoosier’! :)
And I would love to win your Lightroom 5 book. My Kelby Lightroom 3 book is much like the Velveteen Rabbit …. very worn and threadbare from all the love!

  10. I’ve been to the Church in Gary a few times, this mouth. And it a terrible place. You would not like it at all. I would thing you would want to go some where else and stay away from here.

No, seriously. the Church is awesome. And if your thinking of making a trip to it. Please take care of it. Seem like this year there has been a lot of traffic through the old Church. The Church is taking its hits. If you bring things in, take them out! Don’t mess with the perfection of the mess. Just saying respect it. I would like to visit it for a few more years.
