A few days ago, just for fun, I started doing these short little Photoshop tips, between 20 and 30-something seconds long (well, that’s the goal anyway), and I’ve gotten a lot of great feedback on them. I just cover one little thing; so far it’s been some little-known shortcuts, and I’m not sure exactly what’ll I’ll be covering from day to day, but here’s the first three I created.
I don’t talk on these (a big bonus for some) — I do it all using text (that way I can just bang these out right when I think of them, without having to go to the studio). You should hear the “click” sound from my computer, but for some reason the 2nd one didn’t include the click audio. Anyway, here they are — hope you find ’em helpful.

I’ve been seeing them posted on FB. It keeps the mind going I think. Sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to fit entire courses into a busy work schedule. These little tips are great! I also love the word “nugget.”

These are a great idea. However, I can’t get the Interface Color tip to work…not sure why.
Perhaps I’m using the wrong arm for the one-armed push-ups. Switched arms…still didn’t work. Lost in the snow :(

Maybe it might be best if you did not mention what kind of gear you use and tape over those logos on the gear…. like a lot of Very Smart Travelers do.

I can say this… I am dedicated to Nikon Currently and love it. Scott Got me there many years ago and has kept me going… My investment is huge right down to the new d4s.. However I would love to experience Canon at the same level, however, switching is not a smart dollar move. I can say this, both companies make one hell of a camera and lens.. More importantly I have followed Scott for years. The camera he shoots is not what makes this conversation so important. It’s the fact he know how to shoot it and has an incredible gift of knowledge and resources at his disposal. This came from a life long embracement and immersion into products. I honor him for growing and making the steps to further himself in his skills. I also am sorry to lose him on the Nikon Tips and tricks side, but I am sure Canon Fans will embrace him completely.. and realize it has never been about the gear, it is about the artist behind the lens.. Way to Go Scott, once again showing us what is out there and the opportunity we can embrace…. greg@marchandphtograpy.com
