Hope you’ll be able to join us – it’s gonna be a really fun day!

Best,

-Scott

P.S. Note: the four webinars will be essentially the same â” except of course from the questions answered during the live Q&A.

OK, for us, things don’t get much bigger than this â” now, unfortunately I can’t tell you actually what it is that’s coming Tuesday, but it’s SO BIG that we’re doing FOUR free live Webcasts on Tuesday and you’re invited (if you’re a photographer, you’re going to want to be there to see and talk about this big secret thingy).

Here’s the top secret details:

Who: Me and RC (co-hosts of The Lightroom Show)
What: Four free LIVE webcasts for photographers
Where: http://kelbyone.com/secret
When: Tuesday at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm and 7:00 PM (all Eastern Time zone)
Why: We can’t tell you why yet (we’ve been double-sworn to secrecy and we had to put RC’s car up for collateral in case we blabbed so we’re keeping this one top secret till then)

Come and join RC & me â” sign-up free at this link, and we’ll see you on Tuesday for the big secret thingy that we can’t talk about now, but we’ll be talking about all day on Tuesday (and so will everybody else).

Also, can you help us spread the word through your social media and blogs and stuff? (much appreciated!). We’ve got a LOT to share (ya know, once we can officially share it). :)

Have a great top-secret weekend and we’ll see you next week!

Best,

-Scott
Not Tellin’ ‘Till Tuesday

Hey everyone. RC here. I’m happy to announce that Snapseed by Google just got a MAJOR upgrade and is now live!!! We figured – this is a great time to get some facetime with Google themselves to talk about it!

In this bonus episode of The Grid – Scott Kelby and RC Concepcion are joined by Nils Kokemohr of Google to debut the release of this awesome app.

Want to See a Whole Class on Snapseed 2.0?

I’m a huge fan of the work Google has done with this app. To make it for free takes it to yet another level. How about if we gave you a whole class on using it for free?

For a full 28 lesson class on how to use Snapseed 2.0 make sure you visit http://kelbyone.com/snapseed

I would say go out and get this program immediately! You’re going to be so happy with what they’ve added here.

Hi Gang, and greetings from Sacramento where I’m wrapping up my “Shoot Like a Pro” tour today. Here’s what’s up:

Massive Photo Gear Giveaway
Two awesome photographers, Elia Locardi and Ken Kaminesky, have joined force to form “Dream Photo Tours” and to kick things off they are doing some insane giveaways. Here’s the link to enter for your chance to win (and see a list of all the prizes they’re giving away this week).

I’m off to Dubai next week!
More on the whys coming up soon, but Brad and I are heading there next week, and I need some awesome ideas of where to shoot (It’s been 6+ years since I’ve been there and can’t wait to go back, but I want a plan this time, instead just going around kinda blind, so if you have any ideas, let me know).

It’s “The Lightroom Show,” Episode #4
We’re cranking’ ’em out every week. It’s 12-packed full minutes of just wall-to-wall Lightroom tips and tutorials. Here’s the link, or you can subscribe for free on iTunes (here’s that link).

OK, I gotta hit the sack! (big day tomorrow!).

All my best,

-Scott

P.S. I’m kicking off my all new tour, “Shoot Like a Pro: Reloaded!” in April in Salt Lake City, and then Los Angeles. Here’s the link with details. Hope I’ll see you there!

It’s hard to believe, but Photoshop is 25-years-old! Yesterday was its official birthday, and yesterday in honor of, and to celebrate, “The Photoshop Guys” did a special broadcast about Photoshop, and we shared some tips and techniques, and you can watch it right above.

You’re Invited!
25 years is a pretty amazing milestone, so to continue the celebration we’re hosting a free Webcast where we’re going to look through the years at the different versions of Photoshop, and we’re going to share our favorite features introduced in each version by sharing our favorite Photoshop tips for each feature (and I’m hoping that last sentence made any sense whatsoever). In short â” wanna come to a free live webcast packed with Photoshop tips? Well, you’re invited.

When you sign up for the free Webcast, you also get a link to download a PDF of our 25-year-tribute feature from Photoshop User magazine written by Adobe’s own Bryan O’Neil Hughes. Here’s the link to sign up.

One more thing!
Adobe’s Worldwide Evangelist, Terry White, did a really cool tribute for Photoshop’s birthday yesterday; he did an entire demo of Photoshop 1.0. You will be amazed at how many things were in that initial release that we still use day in/day out today. I’ve embedded his demo below.

I hope you’ll join me in wishing Photoshop, the coolest program ever made, a big “Happy Birthday!” :)

Hope you all have a great weekend (try to stay warm. If it was 28° down here last night in Tampa, I can’t imagine how cold it must be up north. Brrrrrrrr!).

All my best,

-Scott
