Category Archives Seminars The first one was amazing (here's the link), and we had lots of folks asking us if we could possibly do another one but the problem is: there's only one weekend left in this entire season where we could schedule another Professional Hockey Photography Hands-on Workshop. But that weekend is April 26, 27, 28th, 2013. It's on. Drop the puck! Check out the video above for details --- (it's the original that explains the workshop --- but it mentions the old dates, so don't let that throw you). The last workshop sold-out within the first two hours it was announced, so if you want to join us for this incredible hands-on workshop, down in Tampa at the Forum, on the ice, you gotta do it right now (it's filled on a first-come, first-served basis). Space is limited to the first 22 people who sign…

Hi Gang (and happy Tuesday)! If you're anywhere near Philadelphia or Chicago and you need to be at my new "Shoot Like a Pro" Tour but for whatever reason, you can't afford to go, I've got two-tickets available for each city. Just leave me a comment below, which city you want to attend, and I'll pick two winners in each city tonight (and then I'll see you there). For more info about my new tour, click here or if instead you want to watch my one minute and 52 second video explanation of what the tour is all about, then click here.  See you out on the road (of course by that I mean out on tour, not actually standing in the road). ;-) Cheers, -Scott

Above: Here's our class group shot, taken with a remote camera mounted inside the goal. On Sunday morning we had a session just on mounting and using remotes.  I thought from the beginning it was going be the coolest hands-on workshop I've ever been involved it, and it totally, totally was! (If this is the first time you're hearing about, first go watch this very short video clip which explains the workshop). Above: Here's our workroom for the weekend, inside the VIP Club at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Sweet digs!  (Photo by Brad Moore) Above: Here's Scott Audette (far right) doing a presentation on what makes a good hockey photo; which types of shots make it, and which one's don't. Really eye-opening and candid. That's me (left center) and Mike Carlson (far left). (Photo by Brad Moore) I'm going to tell the story with captions,… The new tour kicks off in just a few weeks in : PHILADELPHIA on April 3rd then to CHICAGO on April 30th I did a test-run of the full day a few weeks ago in our headquarters for a group of about 40 photographers (to get their feedback, ideas, and comments on the day and to help me tweak it before it goes out on the road), and the feedback was just fantastic!!!! In the short video (less than 2-minutes) above I go through the five sessions I'll be teaching that day and what it's all about. Here's the link for more info or to reserve your seat right now. (Seating is limited and filled on a first-come/first-served basis). I hope to see you in in person in Philly or Chicago very soon (it's a nationwide tour, so we'll be announcing lots of new cities… ..when it was out on the road (or if I didn't come to your city or country)….you can watch the entire seminar online, from start to finish, no matter where you are in the world. You even get the same tour workbook (but in color no less), plus all freebies I gave out for attendees. The full-day seminar is now available as a digital download (just like you’d buy a movie online to download to your computer), for just $49. The short one-minute video above gives you the full scoop, or go to the download site:

I'm going to have more than 300 photographers at my "Photoshop for Photographers" seminar on Wednesday in Sacramento, but if you haven't signed up yet, I'll save a seat for you. I've only had the opportunity to teach in Sacramento one time, back in 2008 so I'm really excited to be back, and I hope you'll come out and join me (here's the link). >> It's only $99 for the full day, or just $79 if you're a NAPP member). The video below tells you all about the tour and what you'll learn. Also, if you're closer to Denver, I'll be there the following week, so I hope to see you at one of these two cities really soon!
