The wait it over! (Yay!) Nobody is more surprised (or happy) than I, but yes—it’s finally here—the Kelby Training Online app, for iPad AND iPhone, is now available for FREE in the App Store. Oh happy freakin’ day!!! Here’s the link.

Here’s the full screen view with Matty K on screen. I purposely chose a capture where his mouth was frozen open like that. He gets a kick out of it when I capture him at precise moments like this. :)

Here’s a look at the Portrait orientation view. That’s Joe McNally gesturing to what he would call a “Luminous Light Source.”

I am so excited (relieved) that’s it’s finally here. It actually came out late last night, I was already getting emails from people who are already using and totally loving it! My thanks to iPad developer (and App book author) Shawn Welch for his fantastic work on the App, along with our own in-house team who worked so hard to get this App up and running, including Kleber Stephenson, Erik Kuna, Paul Wilder, Dave Moser, Matt Kloskowski, RC Concepcion, Brad Moore, and Tommy Maloney.

Did I mention the Kelby Training Online iPad app is here now? I did? Well…whoo hoo!!! :)

It’s my first “This Weekend Only” Killer Deal of the year, and man did I save it for a good one. I was able to get entertainment photographer Jeremy Cowart to offer readers of my blog, for this weekend only (until 12:00 midnight EST on Sunday), $50.00 off his amazing 4-hour training DVD called “Jeremy Cowart’s Lifefinder.”

He takes you on location, behind the scenes, on some amazing shoots, and well….just watch the quick video above and hear it from him, and you’ll see what I mean.

Here’s the special discount code to get his newly released DVD, direct from Jeremy, for only $199 ($50 off the regular $249 price):

It’s a long code. I would copy and paste it for sure. :)

Here’s the link to watch the full trailer, see the images he creates, and to order.

My thanks to Jeremy for making this killer deal on an amazing DVD, available to my readers this weekend. Remember, it expires at Midnight, and it’s the best deal Jeremy’s offered on this anywhere (which as you longtimer’s known, is part of the whole “killer deal” thing here. It’s got to be the lowest price ever, and this one surely is).

Hey gang, Brad here with three super-pimpy posts today.  First up we have…

Matt Kloskowski is coming to Houston with the Lightroom 3 LIVE Tour on March 9!

This tour takes advantage of Lightroom 3’s new features, and shows you how to make your Lightroom workflow faster, easier and more fun than than ever.

If you feel like you’ve been doing things the hard way for a while, this seminar might just be for you. Once you see Lightroom live, you realize that not only is this the future, but you can see firsthand how it’s going to change and improve your workflow.

For more info and to register for the seminar, check out KelbyTrainingLive.com!

Have you ever wanted to go on location with a world-renowned entertainment photographer and look over their shoulder while they’re doing a photo shoot?  This is your opportunity!

As you’ll see in the short promo video above, Scott Kelby takes you On Location with Jeremy Cowart in Venice, CA to see how he assesses an area, zeroes in on his frame, and makes the most out of a location in a short amount of time.  Using only one light and a reflector the entire day, Jeremy shows you how to capture unique images by utilizing creative compositions, textures, and shapes.

So hop on over to Kelby Training Online and catch On Location with Jeremy Cowart, Parts 1 and 2.  And keep an eye out for Jeremy’s next class where he shoots album artwork for a band on-location in Nashville!

….by the time Thursday comes this deal will be almost over.

I just got word from our crew that they’re running a One Week Only Sale for NAPP members only on my “Light It, Shoot It, Retouch it” DVD Collection. The 3-disc set usually sells for $199, but using the link below, and just for this week only (until 10/22/2010), it’s only $129.99 (that’s an extra $50 off the already low NAPP member discount price).

If you’re taking part in my World Wide Photo Walk this Saturday, after the walk you’ll be getting a private email invite from me to attend a special free, live online workshop I’ll be doing for walkers on post processing the images from your walk using Adobe’s new Lightroom 3.

I thought this would be a fun way for us to reconnect after the walk, and you’ll see exactly how I edit the images I take during my walk in Tarpon Springs, Florida, and the workflow I use to make the process quick and easy. If you don’t have Lightroom 3 yet, you can download a free trial version from Adobe at this link right here.

I’ll be taking your questions live during workshop, and I may grab a few of “The Photoshop Guys” here at NAPP HQ to help out as well, so it should be a lot of fun.

I’ll give some of the details on my blog (date, time, etc.), probably next week here on the blog, but the actual workshop link, password to attend the online workshop, and stuff like that will be sent to you in an email (NOTE: This workshop will only be open to people registered for the Photo Walk).

Also, if you can’t make the live workshop broadcast, don’t worry—-I’ll re-post the entire workshop online so you can watch the class on your schedule—all for free, as my way of saying thanks for being part of my 3rd annual worldwide Photo Walk.
