MASTER FX: Maleficent Character Effects in Photoshop with Corey Barker
Take your Photoshop effects skills to the next level with the first class in a new series from Corey Barker! Each Master FX class is a project-based course where you will learn how to do something creative as well as use an assortment of Photoshop tools in ways you might not have thought of before. The project in this class was inspired by the movie Maleficent, and Corey demonstrates, step-by-step, how you can start with a simple portrait and take a creative journey in Photoshop that involves seamlessly incorporating elements from other sources as well as creating new elements from scratch. By the end of the class you'll be looking at using Photoshop in entirely new ways.

  1. So I was lucky enough to see Scott in London on Tuesday (which was awesome) and it made me realize how much we Europeans are missing out on. I know logistics and costs can be prohibitive, but I would love to see Joe McNally’s and RC’s seminars. So I had this idea: Can’t you record these seminars at one venue and make the videos available on KelbyOne (maybe for an extra fee)? I think a lot of your non-American fans and customers would be thrilled.

  2. I enjoyed Scott’s first round “Shoot Like A Pro” seminar so much that I would like to come back for seconds.
It would be awesome to win a ticket for the Washington, DC “Shoot Like A Pro: Reloaded” tour.

  3. Love all the varying directions of keeping my skills sharp. If Joe McNally is going to come to the great state of Florida I would love for you to send me to great him in Orlando.

  4. Hey Scott, Brad,
You guys know I’m an avid Kelbyone subscriber who will never let my subscription lapse as well as a 6 time PhotoshopWorld attendee, and who knows how many one-day seminar attendee. Before I start, I want nothing from you except an ear. I wasn’t happy that I wasn’t chosen as the PSW attendee with the Educator Scholarship, but I’m sure whoever did receive it was exceptionally worthy. Just know I will be watching the keynote and wishing I was there.
Bottom Line, I’m bummed that I’ll miss PSW for the second year in a row, but I’m saving my pennies for next year. I’ll be darned if I miss it three years in a row because I learn so much each and every time I make it.
Hopefully you will announce an OKC seminar sometime in the next year or so.
I love you guys and hope the best for a very successful PSW and many more to come. Hopefully I’ll see “All Y’all” in Vegas in 2016!
    Mike
