It’s Pimpy Thursday!

Hey gang, Brad here with this week’s pimpy! I’m back in Florida this week, and jonesing for some poutine after our trip to Canada last week. Mmm, poutine… :) Okay, on to the news!

The HDR Book Webcast with Rafael “RC” Concepcion
Join us for a free live webcast on Monday, August 1st at 4pm EDTRC Concepcion will be sitting down to talk about his latest title, The HDR Book, is essentially an HDR workshop between 2 covers. The book has 16 projects – each one designed to show you how the subtle differences presented with each scenario (light, subject, environment, etc.) dictate the post-processing needed to achieve each look. You’ll learn the settings RC used as well as the final steps taken in Photoshop before the image was done. The best part is that you recreate these looks yourself using the exact same raw files that RC used in his book! RC will take your questions during the webcast and of course, there will be good deals and prizes to be had by all. Register for the webcast here.

  1. Just a quick question on the time for RCs live webcast that is due to be held on Monday 1st. Above it is stating that the time is 4pm EDT – yet when I look at the registration page it is saying that it is 4pm EST……. From what I am aware there is 1 hours worth of difference…..

Can you please clarify the correct time ?

    Thanks

    Lawrence

  2. VERY cool Pimpy today, Brad! Love the new stuff popping up in the NAPP store (LOL @ “I see dead pixels”!). I’ll probably sign up for the webcast, but who knows if I can make it. I’ve missed the last three Grids because of schedule conflicts. But I have RC’s book, so it’s all good. 8)

Will have to check out the new Kelby Training courses! Always love to watch and listen to Moose and Cliff.

  3. Hey Scott, could you pleeeease pleeease pleeeease consider coming to Charlotte NC with your light it shoot it tour? Not even in the near future but sometime? It seems like we’re a pretty large city but we get overlooked with almost every tour. Bin Willmore’s Focus to Finish tour is the first stop over in Charlotte we’ve had a in a long time.

  4. I’ve been out of town and just now catching up on The Grid and your Blog. What software did you use for the Photo book from Croatia and Greece? I didn’t see it mentioned in any posts. Enjoyed the pictures–brought back memories of my visit there.
Sorry to be asking almost a month after your post!
Anxious for RCs webcast as I already have his book
