My New Lightroom Book is Shipping!

Whoo Hoo!  Here’s the quick video that describes the latest version (which has LOTS of new stuff â” not just the new features):

It’s available right now at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Direct from us, and wherever cool Lightroom books are sold. NOTE: The book is exactly the same, and works the same whether you have Lightroom CC or Lightroom 6 (just skip the chapter on Lightroom mobile if you have Lightroom 6).

Hope you all have a super-awesome Monday (well, it something to shoot for, anyway), and we’ll see ya here tomorrow! :)

Best,

-Scott

P.S. In case you missed it on my Facebook and Twitter accounts â” I did a post on Exposure.co with my favorite images from my trip to France and Italy last week (here’s the link). I think they look way better over there than they did here on the blog in the book layouts. Sheer size makes a big impact. See if you agree.

  1. Scott, where is the link to the spiral bound Lightfoot CC book that you showed off on Periscope last week? I couldn’t find it. Are you signing books purchased through KelbyOne? :-)
Love the Exposure posts, btw! Have a great day!

  2. Quick question anyone: I am a KelbyOne member, on the iPad using either KelbyOne app or kelbyone website, how do I access the new Lightroom magazine? I only see the Photoshop user mag by going to the home screen and clicking “flip a few pages”,,,I see the june edition of PS user mag but no Lighroom Mag. Help please.

      1. It was unclear when I last heard the LR magazine discussed-as a digital mag subscriber how will we have access?

      2. Thank you-I’ve read that a few times and watched an episode of Lightroom killer Tips where they talked about it and I didn’t hear “if you are a digital subscriber you won’t have access or here’s how to get access as a digital subscriber” (i digress, but I was a subscriber to the old digital Lightroom Magazine in 2013-fantastic magazine but downloading it was a nightmare. It was a beautiful informative magazine). Anyway,,,if the only way to see the new magazine is to have a print subscription then I need to change my subscription because I don’t want to miss it.

      3. I came away thinking it’s a section within the P-mag.
If you get electronic by choice (international only get e-version), you’ll have the LR mag included… if that’s not correct, someone please correct me.

      4. in a recent Lightroom Killer tips episode Scott said the Lightroom Magazine is its own stand-alone magazine, not simply the Lightroom section within the photoshop user magazine

      5. I’m confused then by the detail as written in the Apr 24th post link above:

“…make the jump to print by including it in Photoshop User magazine.”

“It’s a magazine within a magazine”… followed by info about obtaining it via e-copy (default outside the US and on request inside).

So… is there another blog post that hit the topic after that ?

      6. OK-i finally found it…as Scott said in the May 1 episode of Lightroom at minute 11:50 it is a “magazine within a magazine” and “it has its own cover”…i thought that meant it was a separate magazine shipped with PS User magazine. But it is indeed within PS User magazine, in the May-June edition it starts on page 85. I hope i wasn’t the only one not exactly getting this….geez. Sorry folks, but thanks so much for your help.

      7. as a native Idahoan, always glad to help someone with “spud” in their name….
