Photoshop World Instructor Rod Harlan’s Workshop in Hawaii

Maui Shore

My buddy, and Photoshop World Instructor Rod Harlan is presenting a 5-day workshop on the beautiful island of Maui, Hawaii on The Art of Digital Storytelling (Where digital photography meets inspired videography).

He says participants will get the best of both worlds in this workshop with complete hands on photography and videography field-work at some of the most stunning locations around Maui. He’ll be joined by master photographer Randy Hufford who’s lived on the island for over 35 years and will act as your personal guide to some of the best location shooting that only insiders know.

This is followed by focused classroom learning, post-processing, production and effects training (including the new Adobe CS5 Suite).

The workshop runs from Monday July 12th – Friday July 16th and is open to both photographers and videographers. He’ll be going over how to shoot video with your DSLR, take great pictures to use in both print and video, combine it all with audio, graphics and effects, render it out to the best settings, and then distribute it to the widest audience possible.

The workshop offers a unique opportunity to spend 5 consecutive days practicing both digital photography and digital video to produce your own digital story in the most diverse and exciting setting imaginable.

Rod has a ton of information on what they will be seeing and doing on Maui,  right here:
