Adobe Firefly and Sensei

It’s #TravelTuesday and I, Dave Williams, am here as always. Today, I want to show you the magic of Adobe Firefly and Adobe Sensei, two great systems that let us use artificial intelligence to produce some stunning images. I used Adobe Firefly to produce images of reindeer and the Lofoten Islands.

You may now be wondering what Adobe Firefly is. It’s a brand-new application created by Adobe (currently in Beta) that makes gorgeous images depending on your input using artificial intelligence. It functions as a sophisticated picture generating engine that analyses a huge number of photographs and creates new ones in accordance with your text input using machine learning techniques.

For a while now, several of our favourite Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) products have been using Adobe Sensei, a platform for artificial intelligence and machine learning. It fuels a number of features and capabilities that improve the effectiveness and clarity of our creative workflows. It employs machine learning algorithms to analyse photographs, spot patterns, and automate some operations, accelerating and streamlining the creative process.

The Japanese word “Sensei” means “teacher” or “master,” therefore it is a fitting name for the platform. It is intended to serve as a smart assistant that makes it easier for you to accomplish your creative aims. The ability of Adobe Sensei to automate certain operations and procedures is one of its main advantages. For instance, in Photoshop, it may assist you in automatically selecting and masking objects in photographs or modifying the colour and tone of a picture according on the image’s subject matter. It can help with facial recognition, grouping, or automatically applying presets depending on the content of your photographs in Lightroom and Photoshop. Perhaps the most common examples of the use of Adobe Sensei right now are Object Selection Masks and Sky Replacement.

How then did I use Adobe Firefly to get these breathtaking depictions of reindeer and the Lofoten Islands? First, Firefly has an enormous a collection of photographs and other images. All I did is simply type in a text string into the input box using plain language and Firefly interpreted what I wanted in order to produce images that were evocative of the distinctive environment and culture of the Lofoten Islands.

The outcome? There are some very stunning imagess that perfectly reflect the character of the Lofoten Islands. The way we approach digital art is changing dramatically as a result of the usage of AI in creative processes, and we can’t wait to see what other amazing images we may produce in the future using these technologies. You’ll notice that these aren’t photorealistic examples and that’s because I was using the other, arty settings. Oh, and it’s also possible to create text using Adobe Firefly, like this: –

So there you have it, folks, the magic that Adobe Firefly and Adobe Sensei work to produce. These tools are definitely worth investigating if you want to up your creative game. Keep discovering the world and capturing its beauty in all of its forms till the next time! By the way, can you tell me what’s wrong about this situation?

That’s right – Polar Bears and Penguins don’t meet. They come from opposite ends of our planet.

Much love
Dave
