â¦And What an Amazing Day It Was! :)

Above: At the top that’s my group in the RAF Cathedral, then Brad and I at Paddington Station getting ready to head to Bath. That’s a “shot of our group shot” on the back of my camera, and an iPhone pano of my walkers eating downstairs at the awesome Byron Burger near Covent Gardens.

Hi and greetings to Worldwide Photo Walkers Around The World!!! :)

Even though I led a photo walk in London on Saturday, I’m already home. I didn’t get in until very early this morning and I’m just now shaking off the jet lag and getting to posting.

Had an amazing day Saturday, with me leading a walk in London, and then taking the train down to Bath to join a walk led by my friend Glyn Dewis (lots more on both of these tomorrow with plenty of photos).

I’d Love To See Your Group Shots
In the meantime if you took a group shot during your local walk, can you share the link here on the blog as a comment and tomorrow I’ll give a link where you can see them all (honestly, seeing all these group photos from around the world is one of the biggest highlights for me of the entire experience).

But for today, I just wanted to share a few group photos from around the world (these were posted on Twitter on Saturday), and thank everyone who participated around the world — everyone who donated to the Springs of Hope Orphanage, and all the wonderful sponsors who without whom we could never pull a worldwide event of this scale, off in the first place.

Hope you enjoy these group photos from walks in  some awesome locations around the world:

Remember, if you took a group photo, post me a link to it here in the comments and tomorrow I’ll share a link we can all view them.

Thanks again for helping to make this such a remarkable day where so many new friends are made, so many wonderful pictures are taken, so yet a group of orphans lives are helped because of it. We walked with a purpose! :)

All my best,

-Scott

  1. Hi, friends from all over the world! Our WWPW at Juiz de Fora, Brazil
was just great! We were 30 photographers. First time here, so many
thanks for Scott Kelby and staff for organizing and helping.

    Our group photo here:

All the photos, still being uploaded, can be seen on our local flickr group here:

If I may, I’d like to suggest one video on the group pool by Paulo Souza, he made an
aerial movie of the photo walk using a drone with a Hero camera, that’s really great! Here:

We walked along Paraibuna River, which crosses the city, so it was both
an urban and wildlife environment. The animals you see at the beginning
are capivaras, a big Brazilian rodent. Photo
walkers can be seen down there in many scenes, especially at the
bridges, with their cameras, tripods and enthusiasm! Sunny day, great
sunset, great walkers. We certainly had a great time!
