Photoshop World App Updated
We just released an updated version of our Photoshop World iPhone App, which includes both new features (including an Opening Keynote countdown clock, plus lots of tweaks to the “My Schedule” feature, including the ability to erase your schedule and delete all saved data), along with some bug fixes. You can download the free App from the iTunes Store, or just follow this link.

Loved Nick’s Post Yesterday
I really found Nick’s Guest Blog post yesterday fascinating (I especially thought his impressions of Michelle Obama and Annie Leibovitz were great), and his behind-the-scenes perspective, and advice, were really insightful and inspiring. Thanks Nick for a great guest post!

Come spend the day with me in Chicago
The next stop on my “Photoshop CS4 for Digital Photographers” tour is Chicago, IL on Friday, April 9th, and I hope you can join me there—-it’s gonna be an awesome day. Here’s the link with all the details.

Check out this guy’s work
Unfortunately, I can’t remember which one of my readers turned me on to the landscape photography of James Neeley (all I have is a link), but he’s got some interesting landscape photography, including some with what looks like a hint of HDR, but it’s not overdone. Here’s the link.

That’s it for now, gang
After being gone for six days, things are really crazy around this place (especially this close to Photoshop World), so I’m keepin’ it short. Hope you have a fantastic Thursday!

  1. James Neeley is an awesome photographer! I know him personally and pretty much all of his work is HDR. His ability to compose a landscape photo is absolutely amazing. Cool to see someone from our local photography club mentioned on your blog! I will be the talk of the club meeting tonight!

  2. Scott,

First off, totally with you on Nick’s post. A great insight into the work of the guy ‘behind the scenes’ and also real nice to hear that the big names such as Michelle Obama and Annie Lebowitz lived up to expectations; if not exceeded them.

James Neeley’s work is definitely worth some ‘sitting back with a mug of tea’ time and letting the slide shows go through. Great use of HDR which!

    Cheers,
    Glyn

  3. Attended one of the Mountain High Workshops last year with James Neely and other instructors, . It was a fantastic and inspirational experience. Thanks for letting the rest of the world know of his wonderful work.

  4. Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done. People who have grown used to looking up car rental rates and mentally totaling up what they owe for a day’s rent, are often in for a rude shock when it comes time to settle these days.
