Entertainment photographer Art Streiber! I (Brad) have been a huge fan of Mr. Streiber’s work for a long time. He’s a regular contributor to Vanity Fair, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Wired, many other magazines, and also shoots artwork for movies and TV shows. So if you’ve looked at a magazine rack or been to the movies in the past few years, you’ve probably seen his work on a cover or a poster.
I had the opportunity to go to Mr. Streiber’s class at Photo Plus Expo last year. I can’t begin to tell you how much I learned in just a few hours of listening to him talk about his work. Everything from pre-production, to shooting, to post production, and even billing and inventory. Everyone else I talked to who was in his class (including Jeremy Cowart and Dustin Snipes) was absolutely pumped when it was over too.
I’ve asked him to try and turn his class into a blog, so hopefully he’s been able to do just that. Come back tomorrow and check it out!
That’s great, Art is awesome! Big fan. This goes for every guest blogger, but I really hope he gives a little insight on how he got where he is now. Specifically how he got his start, and how he got access to the people he shoots.
Damn! I just looked at his work. A fan. I love it. I see myself working as hard as him when I am that age / see myself having that amount of work to show, hopefully more (with all respect). :)

I also hadn’t come across Art’s work until reading Scott’s post today but after following the link and flicking through his portfolio I was blown away and am also now a massive fan!
Thanks Scott/Brad for sending me in Art’s direction, you guys are the best and we really appreciate all the hard work you put into finding and organising so many fantastic guests for the blog each week !!

I wasn’t trying to be mean, I really enjoy the guest blog and look forward to it every week. I had already had a look at Art’s site,(which I think was fantastic) I really liked the Shot with Liam Neilson, Michael Kane at a bar. The Kids and the misses were tucked up in bed and I was ready to sit back and enjoy the guest blog. Jeeezzzz
