If you’re in the Chicagoland area, I’m bringing my “Photoshop CS4 for Digital Photographers Tour” to town, next Friday (April 9th) and I hope you can join us.
There are nearly 500 photographers already signed-up for the one-day workshop, but I’m saving a seat for you, so I hope you’ll come and join me for a fun day of learning. Here’s the link with all the details.
If you read the blog, and you’re going, make sure you stop me and say hi (I always get a kick out of meeting people who read the blog). Hope to see you in person there!
Wow, I just left you at photoshop world and now (OK, OK! I signed up before PSW for the Chicago event) I get to see you in Chicago. Maybe this time I won’t be so chicken to say Hi.
Tom
PS. I got some good images of the Keynote Band of PSW if you need some images to work with…. :)
Hi Scott!
I hope you are saving a seat for me in the front row. :) This will be a first for me as I am new to photography. I had to force myself to register for the workshop, only because I don’t like driving to big cities by myself. I’ve always wanted to go to the workshops etc. when you “guys” have been in my area but have always been too chicken to drive. No more excuses! I’ve registered so I have to go, right? :)
I love watching PSUTV & D-Town. I have joined NAPP and Kelby Training and am learning so much. I’m ready to take my camera off Auto and can’t wait to learn what you can teach me. I’ve been a stay at home Mom for years and my two youngest are teenagers so now I have a little more free time to learn more about photography.
I hope I will be able to say hello but with a crowd of 500+ I may get lost. :) If you happen to see some woman staring at you in awe and hanging on your every word…that will be me. That is of course once I get over the shock of actually making it there all by myself. :)
Looking forward to next Friday!
Lisa
Don’t worry Lisa. The workshop is in Rosemont, IL by O’Hare; so you really are not in the city……just a friendly suburb right off the highway.
Thanks T-bone! That makes me feel a little better. :) Do you know anything about parking?
Lisa
Lisa, there is a parking garage right across the street with a covered walkway all the way to the convention center. If I remember correctly the cost for parking for the day is around $15.00. Don’t miss it and get there early to get a good seat.
Thanks Cary!
Sorry I have to miss it. But I do get to see Dave Cross in Columbus, Ohio on the 12th. The same day they are going to announce CS5.
How cool.
I would love it if you came closer to my hometown..Omaha, Nebraska!! I would be the one in the front row then!! ;) I am new to photography and learning all I can from your books and videos! The only way to learn!!
I’ll be there!
Me, too! ;-)
-Scott
There is a parking garage (sort of) attached to the convention center. You park and take a skybridge to the center.
The parking garage is set up so that you get a ticket & pay at machines after you park & before you leave.
See map at: http://www.rosemont.com/pdf/skybridge.pdf
Thanks Carl, I appreciate it!
Lisa
I’ll be there! Driving three hundred miles for it, but it’ll be worth it!
I’ve been to 2 Kelby Training seminars . . and they are worth the money and time. This will be my first time seeing Scott in person. I’ve introduced a fellow photographer from Cedarburg, WI to Adobe PS and am bringing him along.
I look forward to the seminar.

Will this tour be coming to California?
