  1. I really really need the On a Budget with Hotshoe Flash class!! I’m just starting to use an external flash!! I’d love a 1month subscription to KelbyTraining.com. Thanks!! Cheers

  2. Comment. Really need the kindle edition of your book on Ps4. I know I’m behind the times but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night! Ok no I didn’t, but my mom still goes on about the gift you gave her last year and said to say thank you again for an amazing Christmas!

  3. Hey Brad & Scott,
I don’t want anything free today. I just want to comment on your new class. I totally dig the way you explain the difference between cheap and expensive flashes. You are right too. I never noticeed the “thing” on the girl that you fixed last until you pointed it out. Once you did, it’s all I saw.
As for yesterday’s post with Brian. He mentioned that he takes lessons from you in his teachings. Ditto with me. I think the main think of “Yours” I have added to my lectures is humor and the ability to laugh at myself when I make mistakes in front of the class. And. I am always open to learn new things from my students. Too many instructors out there put the face out there that they are the ultimate resource. On the contrary, we can all learn from others. Some what to do, some what not to do.
    You rock guys,
    Mike

  5. I became a Napp member during your holiday special, but couldn’t pull off the Kelbytraining.com combo deal this year. A one month subscription would rock! The hot shoe class would be awesome for people like me who don’t do portraits regularly and have minimal gear to do them occasionally. Might have to try to do a one month subscription early next year to check it out anyway.

  6. Out of curiosity….shouldn’t the class that is being posted in a “Free Stuff Thursday” post actually be free for people to watch? I shared this with my Photography Club because I knew they would be interested, but people are asking if why they can’t watch the video for free if it is being featured on “Free Stuff Thursday”

  7. I would love to win the Photoshop CS6 Seattle with RC ticket. Loving the light it, shoot it, retouch it class, especially since I just bought the Joe McNally Ezybox. Perfect timing!

  8. This great! I’d love to see more info on shooting with a hot shoe flash on a budget, as it totally fits with that I do. Being an amateur, I cannot yet afford the fancy items. Thanks for doing this!!

  9. So glad to have found your site and hoping to win the battle against LR4 with help from your book which I just started reading. Now, I am looking forward to that part of my Photoshop journey. Used to be a Medical Photographer in Scotland many years ago. Learned to read upside down from old 5×4 slide photography…feeling upside down digitally and need all the help I can get :)
