Brad, now that’s very Pimpy! Glad to have the old back!
definitely welcome the return of text
Scott, I wanted to share this following link with you, didn’t know exactly where to post it.
I did tweet it, but anyways here it goes,

:/ Is this a gimmick or marketing strategy went bad.
If you feel it’s kind of spam, do delete this post.
Yeah, we Canonistas have been having a field day with this one. Looks to me like it would be a great Grid topic.
It’s a case of foot in mouth disease. Doesn’t it seem like all the brands are leaning toward, “get this new camera/lens and shoot like a pro”?
PLUS: Lightroom 3.5 came out today. http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=5255&fileID=4891
Woo Hoo! The Bradster is back with the Pimpyness! Glad to see you posting again, Brad. There was only so much more I could take of Pete and Matt singing, “It’s Pimpy, It’s Thursday….” 8) (Just kidding!)
Can’t wait for Ben’s class in Boston. It should be great.

I watched Ben’s close up session. What happened to the floating strawberries ?

Another voice of appreciation for the return to the text post, rather than video.
I find myself not wearing T-shirts or sweatshirts much any more. Any chance (this year or next) of a polo with a logo on the pocket?
I missed Scott when he gave his Light It, Shoot It, Retouch It seminar in Toronto, Canada this past July.
So I did the next best thing and purchased a copy of his Light It, Shoot It, Retouch It book a week ago, and I must say, as with all Kelby Media and NAPP books – its another excellent read and resource with much valued material!
What I enjoy most is the post-processing and retouching techniques. I’ve used some post it notes as tabs, to refer to some specific sections. A fine example is Page 159 when using the Quick Selection tool – there’s an excellent description about how to use the Refine Edge button in PS-CS5 with the Smart Radius tool, to get all the single strands of hairs when you copy and paste an image to create a composite image. I can use these techniques for other areas too!
Lots and lots of excellent tips! Thanks for a great book guys!
Cheers,
Frederic in Montréal.
Hi Brad,
This is an off topic comment.
Do you know when the Kelby Training class with Sly Arena will air?
I’ve contacted KT with no response.
I’m trying other avenues.
-Thanks
I second this question – really keen to know when Syl’s course will become available – enough of those SB900’s already (yes, I know they’re more capable than the 580EXII, don’t mock).
I can’t wait to lead my first walk. They forecast a sunny and warm day. That’ll be blast.
Nick from Switzerland.
