It’s Worldwide Photowalk Day!!!! Whoo hoo!!!!

It’s Worldwide Photo Walk day. Whoo Hoo!!!
Greetings from beautiful Venice, Italy where I hosted a local walk today (with a really just wonderful group of photographers) as part of my 9th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk, sponsored by Canon.

Here’s some “Day of Walk” stuff from me and the crew:

1. Our hashtag is #WWPW2016
On Twitter, follow @kelbyone and talk to us about photowalk using the hashtag #WWPW2016 for your chance to win prizes during the day of photowalk.

2. Post your group shots here
One of my biggest thrills is  seeing the Group Shots from walks all over the world come in, so if you have yours, please send me the link or leave me a link here in the comments so I can share them.

3. Keep an eye out for an email from us on where to upload your images to share with your other walkers
Once the walk is completed, we will ALSO email all of you so you’re aware of how to upload a picture for the optional walk competition.

Here’s wishing you all beautiful weather, a safe fun walk, a chance to make new friends, and some of your best photos yet!

P.S. Walk proud today knowing that we crushed last year’s $12,000 in donations for the Springs of Hope Orphanage. You guys really kicked in big time this year – I’ll have the preliminary numbers soon, but we passed the $12,000 mark well before the walk, so let’s celebrate that today. Everybody you see at the walk wearing one of the official Photo Walk T-shirts helped to make that happen. So did a ton of walkers made direction donations through our donation page. You guys did good. Real good! :)

  1. Greetings from Portugal where a group of friends of photography, called Albergariótipos, organized for the sexty time the Worldwide Photo Walk, this time in the nice village of Alquerubim. Have a look to the picture of our group. :)

  2. A small group showed up due to threatening rain, but we had a blast in St. Joseph, Michigan. The rain held off and we had a fantastic rainbow show up for the walk, along with a gorgeous sunset over Lake Michigan. Great time, great pics, great food and drink, and new friends! Scott and crew thanks for putting this together and we’re wishing the best to Springs of Hope!

  3. Here you have 2 screenshoots about the Photowalk of last year. I won the challenge in my meetup and finish Top 80 in the final results. It’s suposed that i won a 5DSR or something. Thanks. In my awards appear a camara winner but i dont have any camara at all.
