It’s on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 and you’re invited to join us at my 12th Annual Worldwide Photo Walk™ brought to you, once again, by our awesome friends at Canon, and produced by us here at KelbyOne.
This Photo Walk™ is a global phenomenon, with walks in nearly 1,000 cities around the world hosting walks last year. Best of all, besides all the fun, photos and making friends, it all benefits the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya.
Check out this short video from me (below) for the whole scoop!
Above: In that video, I say it’s my 11th annual, but it’s actually my 12th. After this many years, you start to lose track. ;-)
Here are the details:
Who: Everybody! You’re invited to join us — everyone is welcome!

Why: It’s a fun, free event for photographers that has an important social mission (plus, you might win the optional local or national photo contest)
What to do if you don’t see a photo walk organized near you:
If you don’t find a walk near you, maybe you could be the one to lead a walk in your town? Here’s where to apply to lead a walk in your city.
If you love this idea, you’ll love this podcast on Photo Walks
It’s from photographer and tech writer Jefferson Graham (and may I add, rockin’ guitarist), and not only is Jeff leading a walk this year as part of my Worldwide Photo Walk (his is in Manhattan Beach, California), but he’s also has a great YouTube series where he takes you to different places around the globe sharing great photo walk locations. It’s just so good (and he really gets around) — check out a sample here with his “What’s a Photo Walk” video trailer (below).
Thanks to the Official 2019 Photo Walk Sponsor Canon USA
We’re honored to have Canon as our Photo Walk sponsor again this year — they are a great supporter of the overall photography community, and their support here makes the World Wide Photo Walk possible. Once again Canon is making some amazing contest prizes available, and they’re creating free training videos for our photo walkers on how to make your best photo walk images ever. Thank you, Canon USA for supporting this social photography event. You rock!
Have a great weekend, everybody. Go sign up go join your local Photo Walk – it’s on, baby! Whoo hoo!!!
Best,
-Scott
P.S. I’m off to the Photoshop World Conference in Las Vegas next week.
