Today in the U.S. we celebrate Thanksgiving; a national holiday where we give thanks for the many blessings we enjoy (and I truly feel like the most blessed guy on earth). Traditionally this is a day  where families come together to eat a Thanksgiving turkey feast, and then we watch football until we pass out. It's just about a perfect day. :-)

Our offices are closed today for Thanksgiving, but I'll be back here tomorrow with some insane deals on all our stuff in honor of the biggest shopping day of the year (known as Black Friday).

In the meantime, please enjoy the stock image above (nothing brings the warmth, togetherness, and joy of Thanksgiving together like a stock image with soft cushiony letters).

In all seriousness, here's wishing you and your family a joyous, happy, and yummy Thanksgiving. :-)

All my best,

-Scott

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Scott!

Hey, did you start signing that massive stack of pre-ordered new Photoshop CC books yet? Did you get to mine yet? Huh? Did ya? LOL Hope to see it in the mail soon! :-)

    • Happy Thanksgiving indeed, but from a VERY unhappy customer!
I attended your recent London Shoot Like a Pro session, and enjoyed it a lot. I signed up for a year’s membership of KelbyOne there and then. However, when I log on and am accepted on the site, that’s when it all goes wrong. I try to access a course, but am told to rent the video or become a member (which, of course, I already am). I can’t get any help from the FAQs, because they coyly turn round whenever I hover the mouse over them.
Worse than that, though, I can’t get any help from your people either. I’ve emailed five times and have had no response at all. I’m staying polite here, but it’s getting really hard to maintain. Surely someone can help?
      Yours hopefully
      John (johntate27@gmail.com)

      • John: I don’t work for Kelby Media (but I have met Scott a couple of times! :-) ), so I can’t help you with your problem. I would try using a different browser if you can, or clearing out any cookies, and if all else fails, give them a call on Friday. On the times where I have had to call them, the people in Customer Service have been over-the-top helpful in sorting out my issue. Good luck and have a nice Thanksgiving!

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Scott!

  3. “Happy Thanksgiving to all, and to all a good night!” Sorry, wrong holiday, but happiness to all anyway!

  4. Although not American. I guess I can be thankful for America and what it brings to me.

I’m thankful that Kelby has brought me almost face to face with people like Peter Read Miller, Dave Black, Jay Maisel, Joe McNally, Scott( in Paris no less) & Matt, RC and Pete… All of whom would just be words on a page with descriptions. But I’ve seen and heard them each and every time I need or want to.. WOW.

So on this Thanksgiving Day — I’m thankful for Kelby and all it’s done for me… THANKS SCOTT.

The very best to all at the head office, and your family proper.

  5. Happy Thanksgiving!! (and to Dave Cross happy Thursday, don’t be eating any turkey) :)
