Our Exclusive First-Look at the new Canon EOS 7D Mark II

It’s here â” it’s only 47-second long, and you’ve never seen a “first-look” quite like it. ;-)

Hope you have a great weekend!

Best,

  1. You people at Kelby Media have way too much time on your hands! Get back to work! :-)
    RC ‘s favorite candy bar?…..Butterfingers!

    Have a great weekend, Scott!

  2. Scott, how does the new 7D Mark II compare to the 70D when shooting in low light environments? My shots on the 70D are very noisy at a high ISO shooting indoors with a 24-70 f/2.8L. Wondering if my only “fix” is to go to a full frame camera with a larger sensor or if the 7D Mark II would offer substantial improvements in this area. Thanks.

      1. Scott, totally unrelated, but I wanted to tell you that I saw the interview you did with Karen Hutton and really made me like you and the work that you do even more than I did before.

People don’t buy what you do, but why you do it.
You are one of the good ones. After seeing that, I would follow you into battle! Keep up the great work!

      1. The outrage I see in the comments cracks me up. You are funny, creative and inspirational, no matter what you have in your hands. Keep up the good work.

  3. LOL! The sound effect at the end is the friggin’ clincher. Hilarious. Needed this in my morning.
Also, Brad’s skeptical face followed by Mia’s impressed face! BAHAHA!

  4. I watched it on the Grid. Thought it was cute. Watched it here. Then I had to watch it here once again, thought it was addictive. I show my old geezer students the picture in your book of the case of cash required for sports photography. Now I think I’ll tell them to get the new 7D.

  5. Hey Scott … that was Hilarious!!! You guys made my day … ! I have a 7D and I know the Pete Collins uses a 7D … so maybe in the near future Pete could do a side by side comparison on KelbyOne. Like Scott Gerber, I have really high noise levels at 4000 and higher with my 7D. I can clean it up okay, but it would be nice not to have to over do the noise reduction. Plus I’d like to know more about the 65 focus points vs 19 on my 7D! Well, back to re-run the video for another laugh and pick me up! :-)

  6. Hi Mr Kelby. I know the Canon 7d mark 2 has a built-in intervalometer and bulb timer but, can the 7d mark 2 make a timelapse by itself if you want to? Thanks.
