It’s here and I’m so excited (I can’t believe this is the 13th year in a row, right?)

Greetings from Tampawhere this morning we’re doing an all-day live broadcast (at the top of every hour) and an online Silent Auction (to raise money for the Springs of Hope Orphanage in Nakuru, Kenya) featuring prints from famous photographers and one-on-one Skype Sessions and Portfolio Reviews up for bids.

Here’s the link to the Silent Auction

Erik Kuna is joining me all day, along with a host of awesome KelbyOne instructors who are Skyping in from all over — that’s at the top of every hour, starting at 10:00 AM ET. We have LOTS of prizes to give away every hour so make sure you check in often. You can watch it right here.

Here’s some “Day of Walk” stuff from me and the crew:

1. Our hashtag is #WWPW2020

On Twitter, follow @kelbyone and to talk to us about the photo walk, use the hashtag #WWPW2020, and tag your images with that hashtag as well.

2. Upload any cool shots you’re taking today to share them with the Community

This year, for the first time ever, we’ve created a worldwide gallery where you can upload (from your Photo Walk account page) to share your images with the world, and there’s a checkbox there is you want to enter the image into our photo competition.

3. We are SO close to hitting our donation goal. You can make it happen!

We’re only about $1,000 away from hitting our $15,000 direct donations goal for the Photo Walk, and you can help us make it. Even if you can’t do a Photo Walk today with us, you can still sign up and donate the $5 of which 100% goes to the orphanage.

4. Order your official Worldwide Photo Walk T-shirt

100% of the profits go directly to the orphanage, and this is a great way to show your support — here’s the link (plus, the shirt design is really cool — high-five to our own Margie Rosenstein who comes up with these t-shirt designs each year. She is awesome!

Thanks everybody — it’s going to be a great day, and we’re going to raise a lot of money for some awesome kids! :)

Cheers,

-Scott
