KelbyTraining.com
Two new classes have gone up on KelbyTraining.com in the past week. With perfect timing to coincide with the cover story of the March issue of Photoshop User Magazine, Mike Kubeisy’s Hollywood Portraiture and Film Noir Photography is the first of the two new classes. Mike takes you on location and to the studio to show you how to get the most out of both situations, as well as building sets in the studio. He’s been shooting on Hollywood sets for over 25 years and knows how to do it all!

Secondly is Environmental Sports Portraiture: Sports Photography Gear, the follow-up to Bill FrakesAction Sports Photography class. Bill walks you through his camera bag, accessories, lighting gear, and what you’ll need to set up remote cameras like he does when shooting for Sports Illustrated!

  1. Hi Brad, I would love to get my hands on Scott Kelby’s  Digital Photography books. I’m an aspiring equine photographer working and learning studio photography at the moment and just enamored by photography in general.
Thanks for the opportunity and offering this give away.
    Laurie

  2. Scott I’m following your blog everyday – I’d love to reach your level someday, at least a little bit. So having ‘The Digital Photography Book Library’ would be one step further in that journey :)

  3. I would love to own that set of books. I can already envision a couple wanna be photographer friends to share them with and getting to read them.

  4. Hi Brad, I recently bought Scott’s LR3 book, which I found very handy indeed. I already liked Scott’s style from previous books. Please count me in for a free copy of The Digital Photography Book Library!

  5. I was just making plans on attending this spring’s Photoshop World, but after making hotel reservations I realized that I really couldn’t afford to stay in DC. Maybe in the fall or next spring you could choose some place with a little cheaper hotel rates or at least a cheaper tax rate.

  6. Although I already own the first three books (and they are fantastic), I have a student assistant who is still getting her feet wet in the world of dSLR. This set would be a great gift to her for her journey in DP.

  7. I’d love to win the ticket to the class in Atlanta but would probably need a day of notice at least! Come on Brad, draw the winning ticket early so I have time to pack my bags! :)

  8. Scott and crew — Just want to say thanks for offering such a great military/government discount… Just wish I was state-side to take advantage of it…    If you need to add any photos of flat, barren desert to your portfolio, I know just the place for you…

  9.  The Digital Photography Book Library would be awesome!

Question? Am I the only one who gets giddy with the news of the Wacom tablet? I have a meeting scheduled during that time, but that is what ipads are for ;)

  10. Your site is my photography and PS home everyday. Thanks to all of you for the information you so graciously dole out on a daily basis (if you ever decide to include Sat & Sun I would be there).
Please include me in the The Digital Photography Book Library drawing.

  11. Please include me in the drawing for the Digital Photography Book Library.  These books are great. I have purchased them as gifts for others, but don’t have a copy for myself. Thanks!

  12. Oho, great prize this time. I love Digital Photography Books, read them previously, luckily local library had them all. It would be great to have them as a reference on the shelf at home, there is so many great tips on virtually every genre of photography.
