Get Your Photography On The Web – Now Shipping!
Not only is Rafael “RC” Concepcion’s brand new book Get Your Photography On The Web now shipping… It’s sold out on Amazon! RC was definitely all smiles around the office yesterday as we watched his book climb up the charts and break into Amazon’s Top 150 Books :)
They should have more in stock soon, so you can place your order there or at Barnes & Noble, or order a signed copy from RC here!

Scott’s Gear Page
And last, but not least… Scott’s Gear Page has just been updated to include some of the most asked-about items that hadn’t gone up in the first revamp! New additions include lenses, monopods, “tripod rig” items, USB tether, software, light modifiers, other accessories, and a whole new Grip section with light stands, sandbags, and other studio accessories. That should have everything pretty well covered, but we’ll keep updating it as we continue discovering cool new stuff to share with you all :)
That’s it for this week. Have a great Thursday, and don’t forget to register for Photoshop World by tomorrow and save $100!!
Looks like i beat Ken, LOL!
I’m really glad Jack did that class on photographing kids, I’m about to dig into it now!
Also, major league kudos to RC: no. 1 in 3 categories on Amazon! You rock!
I plan to use only RC’s new book to create a new blog. I’m currently using a Blogger site. This will tell if RC is a good author or I am a terrible reader. 8-)
Alex, great effort but always remember that this is now the 3rd post, you have to watch for the others that stack afterwards. 8-)
Ah, yes commenting Sensei!
Matt’s sharpening tutorial is great, I’m watching it for the second time!
KT
Alex, you did! My Internet went down but since my router was still working my IPad wouldn’t switch to 3G, hence I wasted 15 sec going into settings and turning off WI-fi!
Must be insecurity. I was actually pretty happy with the class.
I agree. It was definitely helpful for me because I never had anyone explain the settings or the various filters, and it’s obviously improper for me to read the instructions or Help file. Matt’s class was perfect for me.
WB, why do I get the sneaking feeling you are mocking me?
I also loved Jack’s class, kids just what to have fun!
Ohhh and Gratz to Alex! :o)
Greetings from Switzerland
Mark
darn I still don’t have my pic in my post!
I got my pic on Gravatar but it’s still not showing here, does any one have a tip?
Make sure you use the same e-mail address that you used to register with gravatar
Ahhh ok lets see…
YES!!!! Thanks John, I did’t see that I was using a diferent Address.
Now I’m a Happy Camper.
Thank you Mark! :D
Greetings From Indiana
Alex
Thanks Brad,
I’m suggesting RC’s book to my (day job) customers who want to get into WordPress. Congratulations on the ratings! (Still pre-release in Britain)
Hi Scott, nice to see your updated gear site. Do I really see a Canon body between all that Nikon stuff??? Just like a wolf in sheeps coat! ;-)
I can’t wait to get it. I re upped my Kelby Training for another year to get the book on the two-day special last week. Of course Kelyby Training is worth the price without a book. Matt’s Tack Sharp Videos Rock. I’ve stopped using my plugins to sharpen now because of it. I don’t hatemattkloskowski ;)
Mike
Can’t wait to check out RC’s book! I may order this through Kelby Training, or just wait to get it at PSW and have RC sign it then (then I can get it personalized!).
–John
I ordered R.C’s book yesterday from Amazon at 2 PM. It must’ve been close to last one. I guess I got lucky. It also amazes me that it’s to be delivered today.
Also don’t forget about our R.C’s training courses on WordPress at Kelby Training.
This is where I got started, but hoping to get some more help with the book.
Hey Brad,
Ben’s teaching in San Jose tomorrow, Feb 25, not the 23rd. Just a heads up :-)
Karen
Doh! Thanks for catching that. Fixed it :)
Way to go RC! I hope my Kindle book purchase counts in that number. I will always love paper books but it is so handy to have certain books with you on your laptop or phone-plus I love that little download button. No waiting!
