I wish I had better news about this one, but due to Sandy (the massive storm), most of DC and the surrounding areas are in a state of emergency and we had no choice but to postpone today’s event (my Photoshop for Photographers seminar).

We’re working with the Convention Center to reschedule a new date as soon as possible, and I’ll keep you informed as soon as we know the date. Of course, we’re very disappointed, and we know many of you are, too — thanks for understanding, and we’ll be back on a sunny day real soon.

If you are registered for the event, keep an eye on your email for more details. In the meantime, stay safe everyone and know that our prayers are with you.

  1. I had a 3 day corporate shoot in Virginia Beach that we postponed till next week. Our prayers go out to everyone up there to be safe and weather the storm.

  2. It must have been a tough decision to cancel out on DC, Scott, but I’m sure you’ll be able to find another date quickly. I hope everyone gets through this monster storm relatively unscathed. Maybe everyone can just go to KelbyTraining.com and watch McNally’s class on bad weather photography!

On a side note, the forecast for Boston next week is sunny and 60’s! :-)

  3. Bad luck for the cancellation hope can reschedule but hope everyone’s safe & well away from these storms..

  4. Stay safe.

ps. on the business side the blog is not posting a RSS feed from Friday and today.

  5. Thanks for canceling. Once they declared the Metro system would be shut down until further notice, there was no way many could have gotten there. It is supposed to get really bad right about the time the seminar would have let out. So, next time, we’ll see you and we won’t have to worry about getting home. Wish Sandy wouldn’t be here, but at least we are all safe at home.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!!!

  6. Any word on Joe McNally’s event in Philly?
